I boiled ginger slices as directed but added fresh mint leaves, a cinnamon stick, 1 bag of chamomile, and half of a lime (I just cut one in half, slice the end off, and stick the whole lime in the water). My husband doesn’t like ginger, so I had to add things to cover the strong flavor and it turns out the other ingredients are also beneficial. I sweetened it with honey (also fights bacteria) and my hubby liked it. I did too!
